Follow Up: Timing has absolutely been an issue over the past month. Figuring out how to juggle work, the show and my education. In the end, I think I did a fairly decent job - all while getting a good nights rest. As for the mud hen reminding me of my cat Cali, mom has gotten a new cat who at times strikingly resembles my Cali. She came into our lives about a week after pulling that card, though we saw her for the first time only a few days after that card was pulled. It's funny how something can jump out at you, seemingly at random, only later to realize that perhaps you knew the card better than you thought.

I was just saying how I wanted, craved, some time to myself. In this card, the hermit is hiding, but watching. She is the Old Lady of the Elder, a powerful woman who practices magic by herself. This card backs up what I have been thinking. Take some time to myself. Enjoy the week without school. Do not feel guilty for my solitude. Simply relax and keep an ear open to what's going on around me. Take a break.
